Watch Hill Residence

A recently completed shingle style house on a sloping site desperately needed a proper site resolution. The site design included a traditional Watch Hill style stone retaining wall that provides for a gracious and appropriate front garden space. Ornamental planting beds compliment the sloping gradient at the side of the house.

The rear yard, previously undifferentiated, is defined by a new stone wall that separates the pool area from the remainder of the space. Ornamental summer flowering plantings line the brick walkways, and a bluestone terrace features a new stone fireplace and built-in grill.
